Internet Marketing Online as a Salesman

I have been doing internet marketing for a good while in my sales job, which I have a college degree in marketing.  We get calls from your different websites (blog), videos, guess posting sites, social networking and PPC (pay per click campaign).  But the joy that I love that it is challenging but rewarding in the long run.  It takes work to be a successful salesman.  It is no get rich  quick…you have to work.

What is funny is when people call your office and says that you are the voice.  I always say what do you mean…which I know is the videos that I put on about 20 plus video sites around the world.  It works!!!!!

Today Salesman needs to Master Today Marketing (OLD WAYS AND THE NEW WAYS (INTERNET) ….Remember,  “PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE THEY LIKE”

Lessons from the Best Salesman using LinkedIn

First, I check my status of listing on the main page seeing what everybody is talking about…remember to like or in gauge in conversation. Second, check to see if you need to add anything new to your profile. Thirdly, I use LinkedIn everyday by posting to my groups and in gauge conversation with the members.

Also another way to be more relevant is to create your own group in your industry. I have over 2000 members in my business group. Which I have news articles of my industry keeping people updates and job posts around world. REMEMBER IN GAUGE IN CONVERSATION. Make it fun.

Today times sales and marketing needs to come together for be the best.  The best salesman needs to understand the new marketing techniques to make him a great salesman.  With the old tactics of marketing and the new tactics of marketing.  Direct mail, internet marketing, social media marketing and much more.

Internet Marketing is blogging, videos, websites, and much more.  You need to understand this anything as much you can because the future marketing is innovating to internet marketing on mobile.  

Social media marketing is adding your url of articles that you written on your blogs and socializing with fans on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and other social networks.

Facebook Marketing for Sales

I have been Facebook Marketing for Sales for couple years.  By using Facebook Fan Pages I have been very successful promoting our websites, specials, videos, and much more.  People contact me Worldwide for different machines, and parts.  But remember it is a social network so you need to be very social by liking other people posts to grow your presence on Facebook.

 Also join Groups that has to be in your field of sales, (i.e. heavy equipment, auto/cars).  After joining a group socialize with the other patron by liking their post, and also comment on their post.  Make sure you add a link of your company website, if the group/fan moderator let you.  By doing all of this you will grow your Fan base or Group Base…REMEMBER SOCIALIZE…IT IS LIKE A COOL CLUB OR BAR…HAVE FUN
