Becoming the Best Salesman in your company in todays time you need to start learning how to build blogs, websites, and fans (Facebook, LinkedIN, Twitter). I have been doing internet marketing for my company for about seven years. And I how learned how to build websites from WordPress.com and Blogger.com, on their servers. But I learn from that I needed to learn how to build my own websites with my own servers…which it drove more traffic than the free sites. A Salesman that Knows How to Use the Internet

A salesman with one of the most powerful tools is the internet.  I have been putting heavy equipment on Classified sites for years…and let me tell you it works.  Oh did I tell it is FREE…Classified sites.  No money out of your pocket.   If you need help with this let me know.  I always got some tricks to help you with your ads.

Some sites you can update load videos, pictures, price, description  and much more.  Internet making is easy…just use the tools that help you become the BEST SALESMAN IN THE WORLD.  This internet marketing will drive traffic to your website to make you an expert on your profession.

I am using a tool right now to help me with the Classified site process to be a little faster on the submission.  I will keep you posted.

Starting a blog is one of the easy tools to do as a salesman.  Talk about the benefits of your products.  Share stories of your products that help, inspire and even much more.  Share with the world.  Try not to sell…again be true to your readers…DON’T ALWAYS SELL ON YOUR BLOG, or you will lose readers.

Blogging is a tool to create a name of you and your brand…Use it.  It is a very powerful tool.  Make it fun and challenging, it could be rewarding in the future.  Create a information website/blog about news in your industry (i.e. heavy equipment–that is what I did).

Free Classified Websites that help Sales

A great way to help index your site and also sell products worldwide is on classified sites.  When I put products on the classified sites it get very high ratings on Google.  I  had people call me around the world from my classified ads.

It works, try it.  For example, Sell a car, sell a house, sell services (i.e. mechanic), and much more.  Some of the websites that have brought me success is the following:

  • Craigslist
  • Backpage
  • Ebayclassifieds
  • Oodle
  • Olx
  • Domesticsale

This is just a short list of some classified sites that I had used.  Again it works great for backlinks for your website.

Salesman Networking Meetings

What is the best salesman network meeting places?  Depends on your field, for instance in my industry you usually will not find the big construction company at the Chamber of Commerce.  But you could find new prospect and/or customers at the Chamber if you are a Finance Advisor for Ameriprise or Edward Jones.  I have been to couple of the group meetings at a chamber which the meeting host is that person, “The Financial Advisor Guy”.  

Actually great place for pest control, carpet cleaning and other small time service providers.  A lot times you can present a presentation on your company in one of the Meet up meetings of the week.  For example, this is a great place to test out your new adventure in front future prospect or customers.

For Example:   Teach people how to use Social Media for Sales!!!!!!

To be the best you have to learn from the best.  Read books, listen to audiobooks, podcasts, seminars, and webcasts from the Greats!!! Like Zig Ziglar and Jeffrey Gitomer.   They both have great ideas…that you can turn into your techniques.  Also a Great Wonderful podcast call I Love Marketing.

Again Sales can be master often time…it doesn’t happen over night.  Practice Practice, test, test, that How you become the top salesman in the world.

Today marketing and sales needs to work together as one person….A SALESMAN.  Let think about this..who is talking to prospects and customers –Salesman!!!!  So they to design the marketing plan for Today Sales.  That what I do and we are very successful.  You are in front of them and they ask you question which then can be turn to marketing material for the future.  For example, brochures, descriptions of different products that are hot for you can promote to others in different marketing, like direct mail, email marketing campaigns and much more.  Another example that we use to market to construction companies is a brochure on what we have to rent and also the advantages doing business with us over the competition.  Guess who design these brochures, “THE SALES TEAM”, THAT RIGHT.

Make marketing fun and challenging..change it up..test different strategies.  Always test the market by marketing to your prospects and customers (Ask them).
