Building a sales funnel can be the easy thing you can do.  It is what you do with the sales funnel and how you take prospects out and turn to customers.  I fill up my funnel everyday….let me repeat that…I FILL UP MY SALES FUNNEL EVERYDAY.   And what I use is my CRM Software—ACT Sage.  The power of internet is a great start in a salesman job.  For example, if you are a Local Internet Marketing Specialist in Dallas Texas, you would search in Google for the dentist office in Dallas Texas.  They may have a website, but do they have a Social Media present.

Be a Honest Salesman

That right I had said that you need to be honest salesman.  Customers do not want to be lied to, stretch the truth…just come out and be honest to your customer or prospect.  Don’t stretch the truth.  A Successful salesman will always tell the truth to a customer.  This is how you keep a customer for life.  Don’t follow the myths of a Car Salesman.  Believe in yourself and believe in your products and be HONEST.

Free Classified Websites that help Sales

A great way to help index your site and also sell products worldwide is on classified sites.  When I put products on the classified sites it get very high ratings on Google.  I  had people call me around the world from my classified ads.

It works, try it.  For example, Sell a car, sell a house, sell services (i.e. mechanic), and much more.  Some of the websites that have brought me success is the following:

  • Craigslist
  • Backpage
  • Ebayclassifieds
  • Oodle
  • Olx
  • Domesticsale

This is just a short list of some classified sites that I had used.  Again it works great for backlinks for your website.

I will share some of my tips that I use everyday which makes me successful.  I use one of the most powerful tools in the world…GOOGLE.  For instance, you can find out who doing a highway job by going to the State Department of Transportation Website.  You need to found out what customers you want and go do the research online.  Another example:  Google.. Realtors in Dallas, and you want to sell  them a software program that helps them get more leads.  Boom…you got the people in your grasp.  Then cold call them and schedule a meeting.  Always think outside the box, to get to your prospects.  Use social media to get to your prospects…LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter–each one has a vast sources of leads in the Real Estate.

The old ways of time management was writing down in your calendars and journals.  The new ways of time management is embracing technology.  For instance, the iPhone and other great smart phone has tools to help you become a time management machine.  I use my calendar, note pad, voice recorder, card scanner (by taking a picture with phone then emailing to office), GPS Tracking, Google Drive app (where you can store important documents), and much more.  There is no reason that you can not be a Time Management Machine.  In the App Stores there are apps that import to your CRM software.  In some places around the world the Smart Phone is the only computer or laptop that they have…So use it for all the tools that it offers.

Using a Smart Phone will help save time…Take achieve of Technology!!!!!

Remember Steve Jobs did not invent the MP3, he just innovated it to be one of the greatest invention ever…

Every salesman should have goals to achieve greatest.  For example, I have a personal goal on how many units out on rent.  Also a monetary goal of making a certain mount of money.  WRITE IT ON YOUR MIRROR WHERE YOU LOOK AT IT EVERY DAY WHEN GETTING READY FOR WORK.  (remember use a erasable ink)

Write goals on your notebooks/yellow post its….WRITE THEM EVERYWHERE!!!!

Make a Family Goal

Make a Personal Goal (like running the mile in 4:00 minutes)

Make a Business Goal (How many units)

Make a Life Goal

Make a Monetary Goal

MAKE ALL KIND OF GOALS…ACHIEVE THEM THEN RAISE YOUR GOALS.  The only way to achieve a goal is hard works, so get to work and set the goals.

Finding Prospects by Working Hard

Are you going where your prospects are?  Are you mingling with the right people?  Start back to the basics all the time.  Go in the field and cold call businesses, or job sites whichever you do in the sales market.  For example, where ever their are heavy equipment, stop bye and see who is doing the site work and utilities.  Usually the person you need to talk to is in the office, so speak with the superintendent an get the equipment manager phone number or owner of the construction equipment.  Get all the information and follow up with the owner/equipment manager and put it in your CRM software.  Follow up Follow up…And Make Sale…you may not sell them the first time but it could happen in the future.
